Our story

Rio Tinto Fer et Titane - Opérations Québec est investie dans la communauté depuis 75 ans. Depuis 2013, ce sont plus de 245 000 $ qui ont été remis dans les écoles de la région de Sorel-Tracy pour soutenir les écoles dans leurs projets de promotion de saines habitudes de vie et d'activité physique. Chaque année, 5 employés motivés relèvent le défi de rouler 1 000 km pour soutenir l'école parrainée.

Each team participating in The 1 000 KM challenge must partner with an elementary school of its choice (form of sponsorship). They must ensure that their school is enrolled in the Energy Cubes Challenge in May and will earn a significant number of Energy Cubes. This is a great way for the cyclists to connect with the children who will work hard all May!
